Since
retiring from their respective occupations the Hurleys
from Got it Made Designs now devote much of their time
to the arts of lapidary, silversmithing and wire framing.
Yvonne Hurley's interest in these fine arts has been
a result of growing up on the shores of Lake Erie where
she spent hours from a very early age beach combing
for rocks, fossils, and shells. RJ Hurley's interest
in lapidary developed over 40 years ago during time
spent in the Dakotas hunting fossils and agates, which
spread to include a deep interest in mineralogy as well
as gemology. They now share a passion for turning Nature's creations into pieces of wearable art and quite often include their customers in a custom design process.
Their objective is to provide jewelry that is casual
and classic yet striking and dramatic. The pieces are
very unique, of the highest quality and imaginative.
